Its compact size, low power consumption and coms requirements make the system easy to install as a temporary or permanent fixture, with no expensive maintenance regime.

The Navtech Radar W800 Surveillance system detects and tracks intruders moving at ranges up to a 500 or 700 metres radius from the sensor (depending on the model). An audible and visual alarm can be raised to alert security staff, avoiding the need for them to constantly monitor screens. Each radar will independently control up to five separate PTZ cameras to display and track multiple threats at the same time.

The W800 automatic surveillance system is a reliable all weather 24/7 wide area and perimeter protection system. It saves the manpower cost of monitoring CCTV and patrolling perimeters. It provides more effective situation awareness than any other sensor technology. The radar system will detect and track intruders approaching a fence, and continue to track them breaching the perimeter and on the inside. Accurate visualisation of the number, location, heading and speed of intruders will save vital seconds in a security incident, enabling resources to be directed effectively to intercept intruders. CCTV will automatically controlled to instantly capture and record the incident.

Camera interface ?
The W800 automatic surveillance system will operate with any Pan Tilt & Zoom CCTV camera that can be controlled to an absolute position. Interfaces are already established with a number of camera manufacturers, including Pelco D products.
